Hi Lovelies,

Im happy to admit, I’m lazy with my hair. All you have to do is look at my Instagram to see I put 0 effort into my hair, even for a night out! This is something I’m making a conscious effort to change, but for now, yeah I’m a lazy hair person. A bit of straightener action or some flicks and I’m pretty much done. However, now I have had my hair done a little lighter than it used to be I have had to put more effort into making sure I keep the condition tip top. Lightening your hair from brunette can be so, so drying and damaging that I’m doing everything in my power to keep it from dying!

I have been doing a few hair masks, sleeping in hair oil, and trying to use less heat on my hair in an effort to keep it strong. And then I was gifted this little dream in a bottle… literally!

I had never heard of Colour Wow but we stock it where I work (which was how I was gifted it, trying to products makes you able to talk to customers more easily about them. Win for me, win for Colour Wow sales!) so I was intrigued to try Dream Coat! Honestly, I didn’t really ‘get it’ at first when I read the bottle. I didn’t know if it was a heat protection, and anti frizz, or something else entirely. I don’t really have frizzy hair, so I didn’t think it would be something I would benefit from, and I already use a heat protection spray and hair oil, so why would I need to use this too?

So, it is supposed to be an ‘anti-humidity’ treatment that once applied, will last 2-3 shampoos. Colour Wow say that what Dream Coat does, is cover each strand of hair in an invisible waterproof cloak, that will protect your hair follicles against humidity that causes frizz. They say it is a heat activated formula which will compress, tighten and seal hair stands. Leaving your hair super sleek, smooth and and protected without weighing your hair down or feeling greasy.

This is my before photo… I had just woken up and was about to jump in the shower, I don’t think I had actually brushed it either so… apologies haha

  • Shampoo and condition as normal
  • Lightly towel dry your hair, leaving it damp
  • Divide hair into sections and spray each section thoroughly. The hair should be completely saturated and covered from root to tip
  • Comb through to distribute the product as even as possible!
  • Blow dry one section at a time, using a brush to hold the hair taught while you dry at a medium to high temperature
  • Dry until the hair is 100% dry. The product is heat activated so you need the hair dryer to make the product work!
  • Outcome – the most perfectly smooth looking and feeling hair you have ever had!

I was ABSOLUTLY AMAZED by the outcome of this product… like… seriously! If you follow me on Instagram you might remember it from my stories, I couldn’t stop taking photos of my hair and telling all my friends about it! I will be leaving my job soon and losing my staff discount in the process (boohoooooooo!) so I will definitely be buying the full size product before I leave!

The verdict? I LOVE IT. You can buy the Colour Wow Dream Coat here for £24 (200ml… it will last ages!)

Love, Chelsea xxx
