Hi Lovelies,
Welome, to the most bad bitch face mask you will ever come across. Can you think of anything more boujie than a face mask that sparkles and contains actual 24k gold? No, me neither.
Peter Thomas Roth is a brand that I generally LOVE. Use his Water Drench Cleanser every single day and the other products I have of his are exceptionally effective… watch this space! As mentioned in my previous post, I usually use this mask straight after using my La Prairie 3-Minute Peel, because it’s luxuriously smith and locks in more moisture than you can shake a stick at.
The Peter Thomas Roth 24k Gold Mask contains 3 main ingredients; 24K Gold, Colloidal Gold and Caffeine. The 24K Gold firms, lifts, brightens and calms the skin. It is known as being a great anti-aging ingredient and leaves the skin with a gorgeous opulent glow. Colloidal Gold does a very similar thing, but it is an activated gold, and Caffeine held to tone and condition the skin. Some of the other ingredients include Peridot, which is a gemstone rich in magnesium, to reduce the aging effects of stress. Hyaluronic acid and Glycerin pack hydration into the skin which gives a plump and lifted appearance.
The packaging is absolutely gorgeous and is probably one of the prettiest skin care products I have ever seen. As directed, I apply a thick, non transparent layer on to my entire face, and given that the tub is HUGE at 150ml, you don’t feel wasteful when applying that amount (winning). The instructions tell you to keep the mask on for around 5-10 minutes however given the the masks main job is plumping, firming, hydration and anti-aging theres no harm in leaving it on as long as you want.
Peter Thomas Roth recommend using the mask 2-3 times per week, but I think 1-2 times a week is more than enough, especially if you’re using I after a more abrasive mask like I do.
The bougie mask comes with a bougie price tag of £62.00, however at 150ml it will last you a veeeery long time. I’m not going to lie, it’s more of a product to have because it looks nice rather than it being a holy grail item. But it does feel great and give good results, but lets face it, if you’re a sucker for packaging then that’s going to be the main reason to purchase this one!
You can buy the Peter Thomas Roth 24k Gold Mask for £62.00 here, from Beauty Bay
Love, Chelsea xxx
